My First Day...

Have you ever wondered how it is to be a Freshman at an all girls school? Ever wondered if there is more drama and bullying here than there is at a coed school? At an all girls school do you need to make an effort to make an impression? Well today I am going to explain my experience about my first day at Mount Saint Dominic Academy.

It all started on September 12, 2016. I came walking up the hill looking like a Barbie doll. So did a bunch of freshman there. It was kind of nerve racking at first, but you slowly lost the nerve. I had the fear that all the upper class men would whisper to one another as we, the freshmen, walked by (other little things like that). But then it happened..

Everyone came up and they introduced themselves to us. They told us how they did not judge, how everyone, including the teachers, were really nice and wanting to offer help to the students. Here there is less drama and NO bullying. We just have to watch out what we post on social media, because you can kind of get into a lot of trouble.

So it was my first day and I was trying to navigate my way to classes. I accidentally took the wrong stair case to my class. I took the staircase up to the college. On my way up the stairs a senior stopped me and said I was going to an off-limits area. She lead me to my classroom and explained to me which staircases to use and which ones not to use.

Here at Mount everyone here are fun, nice, and really helpful. We are one big family here. One that can not be broken. We are here for one another to offer help and guidance. So do not be nervous at Mount Saint Dominic, just be yourself and you will shine like a star.
